Kangda International Environmental : Successful Acceptance of Yucheng No. 2 Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrading and Reconstruction Project

On December 23, 2021, Yucheng No. 2 Sewage Treatment Plant upgrading and reconstruction project acceptance meeting was smoothly held in the plant and hosted by General Manager Mao Demin. Relevant principals and representatives from Dezhou Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, Kangda EP Group, project company, designing institute, supervision company, geological exploration company, and major equipment suppliers attended the meeting.

The production facilities and supporting facilities of the upgrading and reconstruction project were completed. After more than 20 days of debugging, the plant has had the conditions for pilot production. In the acceptance meeting, the Project Manager of the construction unit Zhang Quansen introduced the in-process conditions of the project's each individual facility in detail, including the electrical substation, ozonic equipment room, catalytic ozonation tank, lift pump station, and liquid oxygen stations. Representatives of each relevant enterprise and unit considered the project has met related requirements and announced the acceptance. The meeting also took the opportunity to carry out a learning and work experience exchange. All the participants said that the meeting was highly targeted, bringing them different levels of inspiration and improvement on thoughts and working abilities.

At the meeting, General Manager of the Group's Construction Center Zhang Qingjie emphasized that the successful completion of the project should give credit to the strong support provided by Dezhou Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau and relevant sectors, as well as the professional dedication of all the staff in the plant, especially the cohesion of all the participated enterprises and units.

General Manager Mao Demin expressed gratitude to all the participants and their work. He said that it has been more than four years since the project was proposed to the process planning thematic meeting held in Yucheng Hotel and expert evaluation led by the municipal government in October 2017. Whether on the project promotion or the handling of each legal procedure, leaders at all levels of the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau have offered strong support. On behalf of the parties of construction, he would like to express sincere gratitude to all the leaders. Meanwhile, he also claimed, the water environmental governance industry of Yucheng will have a bright future.
Then, relevant personnel of Kangda EP Group, supervision company, designing institute, and each supplier inspected the plant and listened to the detailed introduction to the production and operation by Mr. Mao. Leaders of the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau highly affirmed the on-site management, production, and operation of the plant and urged all staff to carefully carry out production as before to ensure the up-to-standard water discharge.
