HAMBURG (dpa-AFX) - Forklift truck manufacturer Jungheinrich is looking to strengthen its position in the software and warehouse automation sector with the complete takeover of an investment. Thus, the Hamburg-based company is acquiring the remaining shares in Munich-based robotics company Magazino in full, as it announced on Wednesday. Most recently, Jungheinrich owned 21.7 per cent of the company, which offers technology for logistics robots with around 130 employees.

Jungheinrich and the selling co-shareholders, including Cellcom, Fiege Logistik and Korber, have agreed not to disclose financial details. With this acquisition, Jungheinrich intends to make greater use of Magazino's software and development expertise in the future. Magazino's current management will remain on board./men/ngu/jha/
