JTC has been shortlisted in four categories at this year's Citywealth IFC Awards. These awards highlight the excellence of the advisers and managers in the private wealth sector in the major international financial centres.

The categories JTC has been shortlisted in are:

Trust Company of the Year - Jersey
  • JTC Group
Family Office Adviser of the Year
  • JTC Private Office
Trustee of the Year - Channel Islands & Isle of Man
  • Sailesh Navsaria
Deal of the Year
  • JTC acquisition of Sanne
  • JTC entering FTSE 250

In the Trustee of the Year category, Sailesh's shortlisting recognises his 30 years' experience working within the fiduciary and banking sector. Most of his broad experience has been connected to large private families and corporates with links to Africa, where he has both lived and worked. As a trusted advisor, Sailesh specialises in guiding successful families in their succession and private client strategies, also assisting corporate entities, impact investors and development finance institutions with aspects of their cross-border structuring.

In the 'Deal of the Year' category, JTC has been included for two activities: the acquisition of Sanne's private client business in July 2020 and JTC's promotion from the FTSE SmallCap Index to the FTSE 250 Index in November 2020, which happened as a result of the continued growth and performance of the business since its Initial Public Offering (IPO) in 2018.
