JOYCE ANNOUNCES DIOR HOMME DENIM COLLECTION POP-UP ARRIVAL IN HONG KONG

This January, JOYCE presents a Spring 2018 Dior Homme Denim range by Kris Van Assche. The collection expresses a casual re-interpretation of the tropes of a Dior Homme suit. Revisiting the urban pairing of straight leg 5-pocket jeans with denim shirt and jacket styles, the idea of 'double denim' is underpinned by the classic touch of crisp shirting and a silk necktie. The iconic silver-embossed black leather 'Dior' logo tab is revisited as an external embellishment, shifting from the inside out to appear on shirting, jackets, and jeans.

Exploring an array of treatments from raw indigo to vintage black and bleached washes, Dior Denim elevates traditional workwear with engineered cuts and opulent details including sheepskin collars and snap-stud buttons. Graphic elements abound, with the season's club kid slogans appear as DIY screen-printed details and the new roses embroidery as a bold shoulder patch on slim blousons. The look remains slim and relaxed throughout, with sleeveless gilet shapes for layering, and a balance of clean and distressed finishing.

The Dior Denim collection launches in Hong Kong with special pieces customized with 'HK' initial patches. These unique collectable patches are only available at JOYCE New World Tower, Central from 18th January to 4th February 2018. The collaborative effort will be on display in a dedicated pop-up section on the Lower Ground Floor Menswear area that echoes the contemporary interpretations of denim in various hues of indigo and grey.
