MILWAUKEE, Jan. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of Johnson Controls, Inc. (NYSE: JCI), a global diversified company in the buildings and automotive industries, has authorized a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.18 per common share. The dividend is payable April 3, 2012 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 9, 2012.

Johnson Controls has paid consecutive dividends since 1887.
