Topics

In March, sales across all of the company's eyewear stores in Japan increased1.1% YoY while sales at existing stores fell1.8% YoY.

On March 12, TV commercials and online ads were launched for the "Airframe" series of eyeglasses. However, products offered in stores failed to deliver novelty to customers, and sales were affected by the priority measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 that were in place until March 21. As a result, sales at existing stores were down1.8% YoY.

At the end of March, the number of eyewear stores in Japan was 451 (same as previous month).
