Accuvant, Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire FishNet Consulting, Inc. from Investcorp Technology Partners III, L.P. managed by Investcorp Technology Partners and other shareholders on November 5, 2014. Accuvant and FishNet are joining forces to create a new, combined company. Blackstone private equity funds will maintain majority ownership in the combined company. Current investors of both organizations, including existing management, Sverica International and FishNet's Investcorp are maintaining minority equity interests in the new, combined company. Dan Burns, Chief Executive Officer of Accuvant, will become the Chief Executive Officer of the combined entity. Rich Fennessy, Chief Executive Officer of FishNet, will remain onboard as an advisor to assist in the integration effort. The transaction is subject to relevant regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2015.

Chris Balch, Sam Edwards, Matt Senko, Adam Cohen, Elizabeth Nedrow and Jay Gurmankin, among others of Holland & Hart LLP acted as legal advisors to Accuvant on the transaction and Polsinelli acted as legal advisor to FishNet Security.
