Ingenia Communities Group (ASX:INA) agreed to acquire a rental village in Mandurah for AUD 2.8 million in cash on January 9, 2013. The village has been purchased off-market from a broader portfolio in receivership. The transaction will be funded from existing cash reserves.

The transaction is expected to settle in late January 2013. The transaction is immediately accretive offering a cash yield of 11%, with yield expected to increase to 14.1%. The acquired village is also forecasted to deliver an unlevered internal rate of return in excess of 20%.
