As part of its 2.5 billion euro share buyback program announced on May 2, ING has repurchased 3,060,275 shares during the first week of July, at an average price of 16.46 euros, representing a total amount of almost 50.4 million euros.

This brings the total number of shares bought back by the Dutch bank under the program to date to 66,138,880, for a total consideration of over 1.06 billion euros, or around 42.6% of the program's maximum total value.
