TV Veteran Don Golden to Head Sales for the New Division

CHATSWORTH, Calif., Dec 06, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Image Entertainment, Inc. (OTCQB: DISK) announced today the formation of a new division focusing on TV Syndication and the addition of Don Golden to head sales for the division. In this newly created position, Golden will report to Steve Saltman, Sr. Vice President Worldwide Television. As part of the launch of the new division, Image Entertainment will be offering a package of over two dozen films with additional packages to be released on a regular basis. In addition to films, Image Entertainment is actively acquiring new and existing television series for TV syndication.

The first package being offered through Image Entertainment TV Syndication division consists of 26 films, some of which will be made available as television premieres. They feature a wide range of award-winning directors and actors including Ed Harris, Michael Caine, Jodie Foster, Michele Williams, Mickey Rourke, Megan Fox, , Tom Sizemore, Andy Garcia, Winona Ryder, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Laura Linney, Tim Roth and Selma Blair. A terrific mixture of action, comedy and romance make up the package.

Golden brings over 25 years of experience to the Image Entertainment team. Most recently, he provided consulting services for content rights holders and producers for the licensing of films and television series to all media. His past includes executive positions with Carsey-Werner eDistribution, a division of Carsey-Werner Productions, MGM Domestic Television, a division of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Inc., Fries Entertainment and All American Television (now Fremantle).
