iliad has signed a new €300 million financing agreement with the EIB for the rollout of its FTTH networks in France.

This sixth loan to iliad SA brings total financing from the European public bank to over €1.4 billion.

' It will enable iliad to accelerate the rollout of ultra-fast Internet in France, including in less densely populated and rural areas, with greater energy efficiency for digital uses', says the Group.

On average, the Group invests more than 30% of its sales in France every year, representing a cumulative amount of more than 7.6 billion euros over the last five years.

' Providing the best connectivity to the greatest number of people is a major challenge for society and the competitiveness of local areas. Increasing access to fiber optics is also the best way to aim for greater energy efficiency for our digital uses", said Thomas Reynaud, CEO of the iliad Group.
