On January 19, 2015, IEC Electronics Corp announced that Glass Lewis & Co. and Institutional Shareholder Services have determined not to recommend that the Company's stockholders turn control of the Board over to nominees of Vintage Capital Management. The Company stated that Glass Lewis recommended that stockholders vote for only 2 of Vintage's 7 nominees, and ISS recommended that stockholders vote for only 3 of Vintage's nominees.

In addition, the Company urged the stockholders to submit their voting instructions on the Company's proxy card for all of the Company nominees for the Board in order to ensure that Vintage's nominees do not gain Board control. Further, the Company stated that stockholders should not vote the Vintage's card for any reason, even as a protest vote.
