On January 19, 2015, IEC Electronics Corp announced that Glass Lewis & Co. and Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) have determined not to recommend that IEC's stockholders turn control of the Board over to nominees of Vintage Capital Management. The Company added that Glass Lewis recommended that stockholders vote for only 2 of Vintage's 7 nominees, and ISS recommended that stockholders vote for only 3 of Vintage's nominees.

IEC Electronics urged stockholders to submit their voting instructions on the white proxy card 'for all' of the Company nominees for the Board in order to ensure that Vintage's nominees do not gain Board control.
