Viral Tolat joins EBS as Chief Technology Officer
London and New York, 11 January, 2013 - EBS, ICAP's market-leading electronic FX platform, today announces that it has appointed Viral Tolat as Chief Technology Officer, reporting to Gil Mandelzis, EBS's Chief Executive Officer.

Based in New York, Dr. Tolat will be working closely with EBS's Product, Sales and Engineering teams to enhance EBS's technology offering and take EBS to the next stage of its technological leadership in the FX market.

Dr. Tolat joins EBS from Integral, the FX trading technology provider which he co-founded in 1993. Prior to Integral, Viral was a Research Associate at Stanford and lead systems architect and developer for a joint NASA-Stanford University Space Shuttle mission. Viral holds post-graduate degrees (Ph.D. and M.S.) in electrical engineering from Stanford University, where he did research in the fields of computer architecture and artificial intelligence. He completed his undergraduate Electrical Engineering degree at the University of Miami.
