On January 11, 2022, Hydrofarm Holdings Group, Inc. (the "Company") issued a
press release announcing the publishing of its 2020 environmental, social and
governance ("ESG") report to stakeholders, highlighting the Company's continued
environmental, health and safety focus and sustainable governance practices. A
copy of the ESG report can be found within the Corporate Governance section of
the Company's investor relations website at www.hydrofarm.com. A copy of the
press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K
and incorporated herein by reference.

Hydrofarm Holdings Group, Inc. is an independent manufacturer and distributor of hydroponics equipment and supplies for controlled environment agriculture (CEA). The products offered by the Company include agricultural lighting devices, indoor climate control equipment, nutrients, and plant additives used to grow, farm, and cultivate cannabis, flowers, fruits, plants, vegetables, grains, and herbs in controlled environment settings that allow end users to control farming variables including temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, light intensity and color, nutrient concentration, and the potential of hydrogen (pH).
