Horizon Bancorp : Bank Awards $2,500 Grant to Samaritan Counseling Centers, Inc.

Michigan City, Indiana - Horizon Bank is pleased to announce the $2,500 grant to Samaritan Counseling Centers, Inc., a non-profit organization that has faithfully provided personalized mental healthcare to individuals across the community for four decades.
This grant will help provide our community with access to vital mental health care by directly allocating funds to subsidize fees for clients seeking a range of mental health services. These services cater specifically to individuals who are underinsured, uninsured, or experiencing financial challenges.
"We're proud to partner with Samaritan Counseling Centers, Inc. in their dedicated efforts to provide support to individuals in need," Steve Kring, Horizon's Regional President - Northwest Indiana, expressed, "With this grant, we're committed to helping ensure that mental health services remain accessible to all, regardless of financial circumstances."
This organization also offers seminar-based education aimed at fostering mental health awareness within a group setting. The program has expanded in the past year, attracting an increasing number of participants.
