MARKO SAARELAINEN HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS THE CEO OF HONKARAKENNE


The board of directors of Honkarakenne has appointed Marko Saarelainen (47) as the
chief executive officer of Honkarakenne. Marko Saarelainen starts his duties immediately.
Marko Saarelainan has worked as the managing director of Honka Japan, a subsidiary of
Honkarakenne, for almost 20 years.


Marko Saarelainen's grandfather Viljo Saarelainen was one of the brothers who founded
Honkarakenne in 1958.


'Honkarakenne is an international company and in the current stage Honkarakenne needs strong
competence in sales. Marko Saarelainen has wide experience in international business.
Additionally his profound knowledge of the products and partner network strengthens the
position of Honkarakenne in the market' says the chairman of the board of directors
