Guidance Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:GUID) announced today the appointment of Daniel Lim as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel and Alex Andrianopoulos as Vice President of Marketing.

Lim joined Guidance Software in 2007 as Assistant General Counsel. Prior to Guidance Software, Lim was an attorney at Jones Day in the trial practice group, and part of the firm's e-discovery committee. He also practiced at McGlinchey Stafford, and Beck, Redden & Secrest. He served as a law clerk for the Honorable Vanessa Gilmore, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas, Houston Division. Lim is a graduate of Columbia Law School and Southern Methodist University.

In his new role at Guidance Software, Lim will oversee Guidance Software's AGC team, which consults with corporate and government clients on e-discovery, privacy, and digital investigations. The team also provides important feedback to Guidance Software on product, marketing, and legal issues relating to the company's software and services offerings. Lim speaks and publishes regularly on legal issues pertaining to e-discovery, privacy and security.

Andrianopoulos joins Guidance Software from Oracle Corporation where he served as Vice President, Oracle Fusion Middleware Product Marketing. Prior to Oracle, Andrianopoulos held senior positions in marketing and engineering at Sun Microsystems, SeeBeyond, MineShare, Technology Solutions Company, Arbor Software and IRI Software. Andrianopoulos is a graduate of the National Engineering University and the University of Georgia.

In his role at Guidance Software, Andrianopoulos is responsible for the company's worldwide marketing strategy and execution of product marketing, content marketing, Web marketing, event marketing, the demand generation and lead management functions, and public and analyst relations.
