Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA : IFC as co-investor

In compliance with the duty to disclose Relevant Information, Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana S.A. informs that within the operation to acquire assets of ING Group in Latin America, the negotiations for the participation of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, and of IFC African Latin American and Caribbean Fund, LP (ALAC Fund of IFC), as co-investors for the acquisition of these assets, have been completed.

The IFC will contribute USD 200 million in the aforementioned acquisition and will act as a minority shareholder of Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana España, a Spanish corporation that acquired the assets of ING Group in Latin America, which will later be transferred to Colombia.
