Geox SpA : Geox presents the Fall-Winter 2012/2013 Men’s Footwear Collection

A number of versatile themes spanning city life to contemporary active wear characterize the Geox fall winter 2012-2013 collection. The ample selection melds the season's key trends with the company's heritage anchored on Geox's iconic and patented breathing system, alongside comfort, innovation and a modern design aesthetic.

To that end, Geox is pleased to announce the debut of its new and trailblazing Geox Amphibiox collection.

This technique represents Geox's winter technology novelty, granting unprecedented and total waterproof and breathability thanks to a special breathable and water repelling membrane applied to both the outsole and to the shoe's upper. The Amphibiox collection comprises of stylish desert and combat boots, at times featuring nylon or checkered insets, British inspired details, fur lining and a distressed look.

For the overall Geox range, the sneaker is king, developed in countless styles in supple leathers and suede with breathable rubber soles in various thicknesses. Shades of brown, from taupe to bitter chocolate, dominate the color palette with accents of burnt red and pumpkin orange.

The collection is built around four main themes dedicated to a modern globetrotter who champions comfort without ever compromising style and quality:

- Everyday workout: The fast pace of modern life requires footwear that is a cross between a high performing sneaker and a city shoe. This theme features an array of heritage sneakers for traversal use including high tops available in cozy winter shades, often mixed together to create three-tone combinations. In this proposal is included the innovative patent Geox Energy Walk which features a special cushioning pad at heel level, a thicker outsole and a softer mid-sole. This season the Energy Walk shoes introduce the Flexible technology. The result is an even lighter and springier shoe that can better adapt to uneven terrain. Perfect for the sport addict.

- City Casual: Sneakers for multipurpose use infused with a metropolitan vibe in tonal matte and shiny combinations of formal brown. From high tops to traditional styles, they look equally good under a casual look or a formal attire. A touch of contemporary street smart.

- Contemporary Smart: A pulsating Swinging London beat reinterpreted for the modern man. Classic styles inspired by the London Street look that include Derby lace ups, tasseled loafers and Chelsea boots featuring thick rubber soles to brave the harsh winter weather. - City Climber: Inspired by the designs of hardcore hiking boots, these hybrid shoes have been reedited to channel a rugged urban look. Tough edged uppers and jagged rubber sole for sneakers adorned with metal hardware and treated leathers.
