Rotterdam, 9 January 2013 - AND has signed an agreement with US based deCarta to provide worldwide location-based services (LBS) including geocoding, local search, customized maps and routing.

This agreement allows AND to provide a fully integrated digital mapping offering running on deCarta's LBS platform technology.

deCarta, with 15 years' experience, is the LBS software platform provider that has powered many of the largest LBS services globally, from Google Maps (2005-2008) to over 20 Mobile Operators today as well as Samsung, Inrix, Ford, General Motors OnStar, and MotionX GPS Drive - the best selling navigation app on the iPhone. Its location APIs are used by thousands of developers worldwide.

The deCarta platform provides all the core geospatial technology necessary to power scalable, global LBS services including geocoding, single-line local search, routing and customized maps, with developer APIs for all mobile platforms.
