Genic Shanghai Co., Ltd. announced that it has received KRW 1,060,700,000 in an equity round of funding from existing investor Genic Co., Ltd. on December 6, 2013. The transaction was approved by the board of directors of the company. The company reported total assets of KRW 2,629,000,000, total liabilities of KRW 860,000,000, stockholders' equity of KRW 1,769,000,000, and net loss of KRW 417,000,000 for the year ending 2012.
On December 6, 2013, Genic Shanghai Co., Ltd. closed the transaction.
