The board of directors of Gazprom Neft approved the appointment of Andrei Patrushev to the position of deputy chief executive for development of offshore projects on April 6. The board also appointed Patrushev to Gazprom Neft's management board. Andrei Patrushev is the son of Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev. Prior to joining Gazprom Neft, he was deputy CEO of Gazprom Dobycha Shelf Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and earlier he was deputy head of state oil company Zarubezhneft, where he was involved in the work of Vietsovpetro, which develops offshore fields in Vietnam.
