Fuji Electric Industry Co. Ltd. announced non-consolidated earnings results for the six months ended July 31, 2018. For the period, the company reported net sales of ¥1,993 million against ¥1,896 million a year ago. Operating income was ¥210 million against ¥121 million a year ago. Ordinary income was ¥220 million against ¥133 million a year ago. Net income was ¥150 million or ¥25.37 diluted per share against ¥115 million or ¥19.58 diluted per share a year ago. The control switches include cam-operated switches, auxiliary switches, railway car use switches, pushbutton switches, conductor switches, drum switches and block type terminal blocks, among others. The connecting devices include terminal blocks, high voltage terminal blocks, disconnecting terminal blocks, capacitor built-in terminal blocks, connectors, connector terminal blocks, test terminals and high current contacts.
