FuelCell Energy, Inc. Appoints Jennifer D. Arasimowicz as Interim President

FuelCell Energy, Inc. announced that the board of directors appointed Jennifer D. Arasimowicz to serve as the company's Interim President. As a result of this appointment, Ms. Arasimowicz will serve as Interim President, Chief Commercial Officer, Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary and will function as, and perform the functions of, the principal executive officer of the Company. Jennifer D. Arasimowicz has served as the company’s Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President since June 4, 2019, and as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since April 2017. Ms. Arasimowicz also served as Senior Vice President of the Company from April 2017 to June 4, 2019. As Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Ms. Arasimowicz, a licensed attorney in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts, has served as the chief legal officer and chief compliance officer of the Company, having responsibility for oversight of all of the Company’s legal and government affairs, and providing leadership in all aspects of the Company’s business, including compliance, corporate governance and board activities.
FuelCell Energy, Inc. is engaged in delivering environmentally responsible distributed baseload energy platform solutions through its fuel cell technology. The Company is a global manufacturer of stationary fuel cell and electrolysis platforms that decarbonize power and produce hydrogen. Its commercial technology produces electricity, heat, hydrogen, and water while separating carbon for utilization and/or sequestration. Its product portfolio is based on two electrochemical platforms, carbonate, and solid oxide. Both platforms can support power generation and combined heat and power applications using a variety of fuels, including natural gas, renewable biogas, and hydrogen. Its Carbonate platforms use a mixture of reforming and electrolysis, while solid oxide platforms can be used for pure hydrogen electrolysis. Its solid oxide platform operates on pure hydrogen fuel. Its commercial platforms include SureSource 1500, SureSource 3000, SureSource 4000 and SureSource Hydrogen.
