Fox Marble Holdings PLC announced the appointment of Paul Jourdan as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect. The appointment is in consideration of the right granted to Amati Global Investors Limited as set out under the Series 1 Placing Convertible Loan Notes issued by the company. Dr. Paul Arthur Jourdan (aged 47) is CEO of Amati Global Investors Limited, a fund management company based in Edinburgh and London.

He has been involved in managing equity funds for 14 years, and specialised early on in UK smaller companies, running the TB Amati UK Smaller Companies Fund (formerly the First State British Smaller Companies Fund) from September 2000 on, for which he has won several awards and is AA rated by Citywire. He launched what is now Amati VCT plc in 2005, under the name of First State AIM VCT plc He founded Amati Global Investors with Douglas Lawson in 2010. In addition to serving as a Director of Amati Global Investors, which is regulated by the FSA, and as a managing partner of Amati Global Partners LLP, Dr. Jourdan is a director of two UK charities: Sistema Scotland and the Hebrides Ensemble.

He also serves as a Governor of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Dr. Jourdan was previously an investor-representative director of AIM-quoted Cantono Plc between December 2008 and September 2009 which entered a creditors' voluntary winding up in June 2009.
