Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. reported production results from its two underground operating silver mines located in Latin America, the San Jose Mine in Mexico for the fourth quarter and full year of 2014. For the quarter, the company produced 1.6 million ounces of silver, 8,896 ounces of gold, 4.08 million lbs of lead and 6.98 million lbs of Zinc.

For the year 2014, the company produced 6.6 million ounces of silver, 35,300 ounces of gold, 16.15 million lbs of lead and 27.36 million lbs of Zinc.

For the year 2015, San Jose plans to process 700,000 tonnes of ore averaging 214 g/t Ag and 1.66 g/t Au. Capital investment for 2015 is estimated to be $56.5 million.

For the year 2015, Caylloma plans to process 464,100 tonnes averaging 175 g/t Ag. 21% of mill feed in the plan is estimated to come from current inferred resource which are planned to be converted to measured and indicated categories during the year. Capital expenditure for 2015 is estimated to be $14.0 million.
