FLUGHAFEN ZÜRICH AG In June 2024, 2,808,339 passengers passed through Zurich Airport, corresponding to an increase of 8% compared to last year. Passenger levels are 97% of those reached in June 2019.
In June, the number of local passengers was 1,957,693. Transfer passengers amounted to 30%, equal to 842,016 passengers.
Year on year, air traffic movements increased by 4% to 23,590 take offs or landings. A monthly comparison shows that air traffic movements are at 95% of the 2019 level. The average passenger per movement figure increased to 137 (+1% vs. previous year). The average seat load factor was at 82%, which is the same value as previous year.
A total of 37,453 tons of freight were transported at Zurich Airport during the month of June. This led to an increase of 27% in freight volume compared to last year. Compared to June 2019, freight volume increased by 2%.
