Florida Gaming Corporation (?FGC?) (OTCBB: FGMG) announces the sale to West Flagler Associates, Ltd. (?Flagler?) of its interest in the Summer Jai-Alai Partnership which owns the Summer Jai-Alai Permit. The consideration to FGC is approximately $2.5 million, which includes the resolution of an outstanding lawsuit involving Flagler, Calder Racecourse and FGC. Chairman Collett commented that as a result of the purchase by Flagler of FGC's interest, the transaction also provides funds necessary to begin work on projects necessary to resume operation of live jai-alai at the Miami facility.

Under the terms of the agreement FGC will continue to operate the required number of live performances to keep the Summer Permit active. The transaction does not interfere with any gaming or other activities conducted at FGC's Miami location nor any revenues earned at the Miami location at any time.
