Federated Money Market Funds Earn Money Fund Intelligence Awards

(PITTSBURGH, Pa., Jan. 31, 2018) ----- Federated Investors, Inc. (NYSE: FII), one of the nation's largest investment managers, today announced two of its money market funds were recognized by Crane Data as 2017 Money Fund

Intelligence Awards winners.

Federated Municipal Obligations Fund (WS) was the top-ranked fund in the Tax-Exempt category for the 1-year and 5-year periods ending Dec. 31, 2017, out of 95 and 91 Tax-Exempt Retail funds, respectively. Mary Jo Ochson leads the fund management team.

Federated Trust for U.S. Treasury Obligations (IS) was the top-ranked fund in the Treasury Retail category for the 1-year and 5-year periods ending Dec. 31, 2017, out of 79 and 74 Treasury Retail funds, respectively. Susan Hill and Deborah Cunningham manage the fund.
