In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6, Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust PLC ("the Company") advises that as at 31 December 2012 the Company had 577,191,016 ordinary shares of 25p each in issue with a total of 577,191,016 voting rights.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
