(Oslo, 22 January 2010) The Swedish company Samhall has signed an agreement with
EDB for the supply of IT operations and support. The agreement runs for four
years with an option to extend for a further two years. The total value of the
contract over its life is approximately SEK 80 million.

Through this agreement, Samhall is continuing its collaboration with EDB for IT
services that started in 2006. The new agreement expands the area of services
supplied by EDB, and EDB will be responsible for upgrading Samhall's client
platform to Windows 7. EDB will also implement a powerful virtualised high-speed
solution with disaster recovery using parallel data centres. The service areas
involved include ServiceDesk, management of the IT workplace live cycle and
operating services for applications and servers, as well as communications
services.

Samhall is a state-owned Swedish company whose business vision is to produce
goods and services with a view to creating meaningful and purposeful work for
people with disabilities that affect their working capacity. Samhall has 21,000
employees working at some 250 locations across Sweden.

"We look forward to continuing our collaboration with EDB. Continuous
development of our operations is essential for Samhall, and EDB provides
valuable assistance with this task. In addition, the new contract means that we
can reduce our costs", comments Paul Lidbom, CFO of Samhall.

"We are delighted by the confidence in EDB that Samhall has confirmed by
choosing to continue with EDB as its long-term supplier of IT operations", says
Thomas Parmbäck, Managing Director of EDB Sweden. EDB has made very good
progress in Sweden over recent years, and is currently experiencing strong
growth in the Swedish market.
