ARKeX goes MULTI-CLIENT

ARKeX, the provider of non-seismic geophysical imaging services, has recently launched a new area of their business focusing on multi-client full tensor gravity gradiometry (FTG) surveys.

The market for gravity gradiometry has grown substantially over the past few years with ARKeX proprietary surveys helping drive this growth. The move in to multi-client surveys will make the technology available to a wider customer base and enable more clients to benefit from the enhanced resolution of gravity gradiometry.

"Multi-Client FTG surveys are an excellent way for clients to multiply the value of their 2D seismic data and give them an improved 3D geologic insight in a cost effective manner", said Phill Houghton, VP New Ventures at ARKeX. "Our current and future Multi-Client plans will ensure that clients have access to the very best non-seismic data in areas where valuable exploration data is needed."

The most recent survey completed is a 3,500 square mile ShaleQube survey of the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania and is available to licence now. In addition MultiClient gradiometry data are also available in Utah, British Columbia and Gabon. Additional surveys are in planning and more information is available by contacting ARKeX's Multi-Client team.

As well as acquiring Multi-Client FTG data, ARKeX also broker a range of conventional gravity and magnetic data on behalf of several major seismic companies. Most recently ARKeX have signed a brokerage agreement with Spectrum ASA to market Spectrum's multi-client gravity, magnetic, bathymetry and gravity gradiometry data library, which is currently in the process of being added to our extensive database.

All our multi-client data library can now be accessed via ARKeX's new website at www.arkex.com or at www.fieldbank.com

About ARKeX
ARKeX is a provider of non-seismic geophysical imaging services for the oil & gas exploration industries.
It specialises in the acquisition of multi-client and proprietary Full Tensor Gravity Gradiometry (FTG) data. FTG surveys measure minute variations in the earth's gravitational field to help image subsurface structures. FTG has a much higher bandwidth and delivers a higher resolution image than conventional gravity surveys. It can be used as a stand alone service or in conjunction with seismic data. ARKeX can also process and interpret conventional gravity and magnetic data as well as brokering multi-client non-seismic data. Based in Cambridge, UK, ARKeX has offices in Sherington, UK, and Houston, USA, and has global operational capabilities.
