Epileds Technologies, Inc. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 251.146 million compared to TWD 297.039 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 24.115 million compared to TWD 43.339 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 23.159 million compared to TWD 34.803 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.23 compared to TWD 0.35 a year ago.
Epileds Technologies, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of light emitting diode (LED) chips and wafers. The Companyâs products include ultra-high brightness LED blue light wafers and chips, green light wafers and chips, red light chips and wafers, LED indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures, among others. Its products are applied in the manufacture of consumer electronics, signals and displays, automobile spare parts, industrial instruments, lightening products and other specialty-purpose products, such as mobile consumer electronics, notebook computers, liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions, advertisement displays, traffic lights, fog lamps, automobile back lamps, program controllers, medical equipment, road lamps, city landscape lightening products and others. The Company mainly distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
