MILAN (Reuters) - The government of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau and Eni have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore potential areas of collaboration in the areas of exploration, Natural Climate Solutions, agriculture, sustainability and health.

This memorandum, reads a note, aims to assess initiatives to be implemented to promote environmentally sustainable growth and support local community development.

In particular, initiatives for forest protection and sustainable land management as well as agriculture and agri-feedstock development from agricultural residues will be examined.

Also among the areas of collaboration will be the assessment of the exploration potential of the country's offshore area. On health, the government of Guinea-Bissau and Eni have already identified a joint initiative to strengthen emergency and intensive care services.
