The transaction will generate a positive effect on the Enel Group's consolidated net debt estimated at about 250 million euros, with a negative impact of about 30 million on reported net income, and zero on ordinary income, a note says.

The assets sold include the entire geothermal portfolio of the U.S. subsidiary as well as several small solar plants, for a total capacity of about 150 Mw of operating plants.

"This transaction does not change the profile of the Enel Group in the United States in terms of consolidated renewable capacity, amounting to more than 8 Gw," the group specifies.
