--The Chinese energy firm is working with a financial adviser, after entering into a second round of bidding as well as conducting due diligence, the people said, according to Bloomberg.

--There is no certainty that China Southern Power will proceed with an offer given that considerations are ongoing, Bloomberg reports, citing the people.

--Enel's distribution assets in Peru could be valued at about $3 billion, Bloomberg said.
