Excluding Construction, APRR's consolidated revenue totalled €2,169.2 million at 31st December 2020, a decrease of 16.9% from €2,611.0 million at 31st December 2019.

Overall traffic measured by total kilometres travelled decreased by 21% for the whole year 2020 compared to the previous year.

Light vehicles traffic decreased by 23.4% and heavy goods vehicles by 8.5%.

The sanitary crisis and the governmental measures to limit the spreading of the virus have had a significantly negative impact on the traffic.

Excluding Construction, APRR's consolidated revenue totalled €511.7 million in the fourth quarter of 2020, a decrease of 18.1% from €625.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2019.

Overall traffic measured by the total kilometres travelled decreased by 24.8% during the fourth quarter of 2020 compared to the same period in 2019.

Light vehicles traffic decreased by 29.5% (as a reminder, December 2019 traffic had been had been favourably impacted by the disruptions affecting the rail service) and heavy goods vehicles by 2.1%.

  1. Reminder: the application of Ifric 12 from 1 January 2009 requires the recognition of revenue generated by Construction activities, which corresponds to infrastructure construction services performed by the concession operator for the account of the concession grantor, this work being entrusted to third parties and recognised using the percentage of completion method.
