Specialist insurer, Ecclesiastical, has appointed Louise Moses to play a leading role within the company's underwriting team.

As the new Underwriting Performance Director, Louise will work within Ecclesiastical's UKGI business to support all commercial insurance areas to deliver their targets; alongside developing innovative underwriting solutions and supporting major projects, initiatives and training.

Louise joins Ecclesiastical from Zurich, where she was UKGI Head of Property. As well as leading the underwriting and pricing strategy for the company, she was responsible for managing performance in those areas. Previous positions included underwriting and sales roles with AIG, Chubb and Sterling (now Covea).

On joining Ecclesiastical, Louise, said: "I admire Ecclesiastical's customer focus, ethics and technical expertise and I am delighted to be joining the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the underwriting teams to continue developing their growing commercial portfolio."
