EasyJet plc Reports Sales and Operating Results for the First Quarter Ended December 31, 2019; Provides Production Revenue Guidance for the First Half of 2020
For the quarter, the company has posted seats flow of 24.3 million against 24.1 million a year ago. Passengers flown were 22.2 million against 21.6 million a year ago. Load factor was 91.3% against 89.7% a year ago.
For the first half, The company expects revenue per seat at constant currency to increase by mid to high single digits compared to previous expectation of `increase by low to mid-single digits' 75% of first half seats have now been booked, which is just over 1 percentage point ahead of the same time last year.
