Dolby Laboratories, Inc. and LG Electronics announced that the LG® 2016 OLED TVs and the company's Super UHD TVs will feature Dolby Vision™ technology. Consumers will have access to UHD Dolby Vision mastered content via digital retailers and the world's leading Internet TV network, Netflix®. Dolby, LG, and Netflix combine amazing content with cutting-edge imaging and a global footprint to deliver a premium viewing experience to consumers.

Dolby Vision combines two powerful capabilities—high dynamic range (HDR) and wide color gamut—resulting in astonishing images that, compared to standard pictures, deliver brighter highlights, more light-to-dark contrast, and colors never before seen on TV. LG's OLED TV, because of its deeper black levels and infinite contrast ratio, is capable of delivering a superb premium HDR experience even at lower peak-brightness levels. Additionally, with its premium Super UHD TVs' ability to offer superior picture quality with Dolby Vision technology, LG is reaching a new level in offering consumers the best TV-viewing experience.

LG's 2016 OLED TVs, including 77-, 65-, and 55-inch 4K HDR OLED TV sets (models 77/65 G6 LG Signature OLED TV and 65/55 E6) and LG's UH9500, UH8500 and UH7700 Super UHD TVs will all be equipped with Dolby Vision technology.
