Dassault Systèmes is down nearly 5%, as the enterprise software company has lowered its full-year sales and EPS forecasts, expecting them to rise by only 6-8% and 8-11% respectively.

For the second quarter, it estimates EPS at 0.30 euro, in line with its target of 0.30-0.31 euro, but total sales at 1.495 billion euros, against a target of 1.525-1.555 billion, an "obviously disappointing pre-release" according to Oddo BHF.

While we have in mind the postponement of the Lockheed Martin contract, it seems that other significant contracts have been postponed", explains the analyst, while Dassault Systèmes points to a shortfall mainly due to the postponement of major contracts.

Nevertheless, the adjustment is relatively limited compared with current expectations', moderates Oddo BHF, adding that the group is generally in the habit of positioning itself to reach the upper limit of its objectives, or even to exceed it.
