COPENHAGEN, June 26 (Reuters) - Danske Bank on Wednesday raised its net profit forecast for 2024 to a range of 21 billion to 23 billion Danish crowns ($3.01 billion-$3.30 billion) from between 20 billion and 22 billion crowns seen previously, citing strong credit quality.

Danske Bank also said it expects to make small reversals of impairment charges in the second quarter of 2024, and that it now sees full-year loan impairments of up to 600 million crowns.

"For the financial targets for 2026, we maintain our assumption for loan impairment charges of approximately 8 basis points through the cycle," the bank added. ($1 = 6.9740 Danish crowns) (Reporting by Louise Breusch Rasmussen, editing by Terje Solsvik)
