Cvent, Inc. announced several advancements to its event management solution, including the introduction of mobile-friendly online registration and event websites, which gives the planner the ability to easily optimize their event's electronic presence for mobile devices; enhanced social media integrations to encourage sharing and attendee engagement; and eMarketing upgrades to enhance campaign sophistication and ties to customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Enhancements to the company's event management solution include: Mobile-friendly additions: Instantly create and design a mobile-optimized event website and registration form based on users pre-existing desktop event settings, or customize the website and form with different colors, display settings and content to offer a uniquely mobile experience. Attendees can also leverage the mobile-friendly event website on-site at events to search for nearby restaurants and activities through a geolocation feature, and to review personal agenda details and other key event materials. Social media upgrades: Promote sharing and increase the event's exposure by prompting users who have just completed the registration process to share the event with their social networks; encourage attendees to share information, ideas, concerns and questions by incorporating a Facebook comment box directly on users event website; and stay connected with attendees by enabling registrants to "like" an organization's Facebook page from the company's event website. eMarketing advancements: Create dynamic content for emails that can vary based on information known about, or actions taken by, the recipient; and update Salesforce.com records automatically when eMarketing campaign emails are sent, opened, undelivered or subscribed.
