Düsseldorf (Reuters) - Europe's largest sugar group Südzucker has achieved a leap in growth despite higher costs in the first nine months of the 2022/23 financial year ending in February.

The executive board confirmed its already raised annual targets, which envisage sales of EUR 9.7 to 10.1 (previous year: 7.6) billion and EBITDA of between EUR 890 and 990 (692) million. The management is aiming for consolidated net profit of EUR 530 to 630 (332) million.
