Jan 15 (Reuters) - British homebuilder Crest Nicholson cut its annual profit forecast on Monday, citing higher costs related to certain legacy sites and an exceptional charge of 13 million pounds on a legal claim.

The company, which has already trimmed expectations twice in the last six months, now expects full-year adjusted profit before tax of 41 million pounds ($52.30 million), compared with previous expectations of the 45 million pounds to 50 million pounds range.
