Mr. Rose is a Managing Director and Senior Derivatives Trader with a focus on risk arbitrage and event driven situations. Mr. Rose will report to Kyle Solomon, Cowen’s Head of Options and Event Driven Strategies.

Mr. Rose brings 18 years of options and derivatives trading experience to Cowen. Most recently, Mr. Rose was with Jefferies where he directed equity derivatives trading and risk management for the event/special situations and healthcare sectors. Prior to that, he was an equity derivatives trader at CIBC World Markets / Oppenheimer and Director of Trading at Cathay Financial. Before that, he was an options trader at Prudential Equity Group. Mr. Rose graduated from Cornell University with a BS and is a CFA® charterholder.
