Convergys Brings Over 70 New Full-Time Jobs to Tucson

140 More Positions to Become Available in February

(Cincinnati & Tucson, Arizona; January 16, 2013) - Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in customer management, is hosting an off-site career fair this Friday for its contact center in Tucson, Arizona.

Interested candidates are invited to attend the career fair from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18 at the Double-Tree Hotel - Reid Park, 445 S Alvernon Way, Tucson, AZ. Candidates may also apply online at http://careers.convergys.com.

New employees will provide inbound customer service support to clients in the healthcare, cable/Internet, and financial services industries. Convergys is seeking both English-speaking and bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants.

"We are pleased once again to be expanding the Convergys site in Tucson and to be providing additional employment opportunities for area job seekers.We're looking for highly motivated individuals to handle inbound customer calls. Potential employees must have exemplary customer service skills and computer literacy, and prior sales experience is desirable for some positions," said Dan McKelvy, site leader for the Convergys contact center in Tucson. "Working at Convergys as a customer service representative may serve as a great stepping stone to a career in operations, recruitment, or training. In fact, more than 70 percent of Convergys' customer service managers began their careers as agents, and we are known for the internal promotion of our employees.
