THE CLH GROUP PARTICIPATES IN THE SYMPOSIUM ON CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY ORGANISED BY FUNSEAM IN BARCELONA

The conference has brought together in Barcelona the leading Spanish energy companies

The CLH Group has participated in the international Symposium on Corporate Social Responsibility that was organised by FUNSEAM, the Foundation for Energy and Environmental Sustainability, at the Science Park in Barcelona, with the aim of sharing corporate social responsibility experiences and debating on new proposals for energy sustainability.
The event was attended by the chairman of the CLH Group, José Luis López de Silanes, and the director of Communication & Institutional Relations, Pedro Martínez, who outlined the key measures promoted by the company in its corporate responsibility policy.
Pedro Martínez also mentioned approval of the new CSR 2012-2016 master plan, which will be based on continuing to emphasize values such as integrity, efficiency, safety, quality and respect for the environment. "We truly believe that a company can only endure the test of time if it acts responsibly and sustainably, and companies that fail to understand this only end up experiencing problems", he stressed.
The conference, which was inaugurated by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, José Manuel Soria, and closed by the Chairman of Repsol, Antonio Brufau, was attended by leading Spanish energy companies, such as Gas Natural Fenosa, Cepsa, Endesa, Red Eléctrica Española and Enagas.
Also in attendance were representatives from various international bodies, such as the chairman of the European Union Energy Regulators, Lord John Mogg; and the chairman of the Ibero-American Association of Energy Regulators (ARIAE), Francisco Salazar.
The Foundation for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (FUNSEAM) is an organisation that was created in 2011, promoted by the CLH Group and other Spanish companies in the sector, whose aim is to research into new forms of energy that are more environmentally-friendly.
