China Technology Solar Power Holdings Limited provided earnings guidance for the six months ended September 30, 2016. For the six months, the company expected loss attributable to the owners of the Company for the six months ended 30 September 2016 as compared to a profit attributable to owners of the company of approximately HKD 0.3 million for the six months ended 30 September 2015. A loss was recorded for first half of 2016 mainly because (i) the delivery of some solar power related products was delayed to the latter part of 2016 which caused the revenue from the sales of solar power related products to drop by approximately HKD 9.4 million for first half of 2016 (first half of 2015 approximately HKD 16.4 million); (ii) no revenue was recorded from the new energy power system integration business for first half of 2016 (first half of 2015: approximately HKD 1.0 million) since the new projects will only commence in November 2016; and (iii) there has been no recognition of change in fair value of contingent consideration payable for first half of 2016 (first half of 2015: approximately HKD 15.8 million).
